A video of a heavily drunk police officer carrying a loaded rifle whose identity has not yet been determined is fast going viral on social media.

The police officer joined a Madina bound trotro at Ridge. What made the incident scary was the fact that the police officer who could not even speak well or stand properly was carrying a heavily loaded AK47 rifle.

According to an eyewitness, the police officer was wielding his helmet and the gun around so wildly that some of the passengers fearing for their safety had to get down from the public transport.

An eyewitness, Rosemary Emefa Brany who shared her experience on social media posted on Facebook:

This policeman joined the troski I was in around ridge en route Madina…He is drunk! He has a rifle! Other passengers were making fun of the situation but I was damn horrified I had to alight and pick another troski. These are the kind of people in charge of our safety?

From what we gathered, the officer has closed from work when he decided to drink himself to stupor. Unfortunately, he had his name tag removed so his name could not be captured. The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.
