As the 2018 VGMA gets closer so many predictions are coming from all angles with people and industry persons tipping their favourite artiste to win in their respective categories.
“Koko” hitmaker EL has also joined those tipping and predicting potential winners and the rapper has predicted late Dancehall sensation Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng popularly known as Ebony would win the overall Artiste of the year on Saturday.
During an interview on TV3’s ‘New Day’, the 2016 VGMA Artiste of the Year E.L said Ebony provided Ghanaians with the most entertainment in the year under review and thus completely deserves to win the topmost award.
Asked who would win the coveted award, E.L opined: “To me personally its Ebony,”
In the year under review, she caused us the most shock, the most awe and the most entertainment…For me E.L, it’s Ebony.” he said.
The Artiste of the year category since its inception has been highly competitive but this year’s edition is different.
All pundits and laymen believe only one person deserves it- Ebony! This unanimous belief is not for the fact that her death has won her some empathy but she really did everything possible to be crowned the Artiste of the Year whilst she was alive.
