Here’s A Video Showing That Ebony Had Plans To Study Law Before Her Death

Today marked the one-week celebration of Ghanaian dancehall artist Ebony Reigns who together with her three friends lost their lives in a fatal accident which occurred on the Kumasi-Sunyani highway on February 8, 2018, last two weeks Thursday.

Hundreds of people including high profile personalities gathered at the St Martin de Porres School at Dansoman in Accra to mark her one-week celebration.

However, information gathered by Ghpage.com earlier to her death reveals that Ghanaian artiste Ebony had planned to study law.

In a short interview video with ABN TV, the sensational dancehall artist disclosed that she had discussions with her father about going back to school in the coming years to study law.

Ebony also added something about what was supposed to be her European tour, her father’s support, collaborations, an overwhelming moment and the support she enjoyed from the music world.

On her last education destinations, she attended Seven Great Princess Academy in Dansoman, and then Methodist Girls High School at Mamfe, Eastern Region and dropped out of school to pursue her musical dreams.

Ebony met her fate upon her return from her mother as she was traveling to Accra to prepare for her event trip in Abroad together with her soldier bodyguard, Atsu Vondee and her friend and make-up artist, Franky Kuri.

Born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng on February 16, 1997, Ebony was to celebrate her 21st birthday on last Friday but unfortunately could not live to see that memorable day.

She was discovered and nurtured by music entrepreneur and artiste Bullet of Ruff n Smooth fame in 2015 and subsequently signed her to his record label, Ruff Town Records.

The talented songstress was praised for her unique voice and lyrical contents but also suffered all forms of criticisms from the public mostly for her style of dressing and stage performances.

Ebony Reigns was the people’s dancehall artiste and that is how she will stay. It is how she will remain forever in the hearts and memories of Ghanaians.
