Ghanaian sensational dancehall artist, Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng known in the showbiz as Ebony Reigns died on the eve hours of Thursday, 8 February 2018, which was a week to her birthday.
Ebony met her fate in a car accident somewhere along the Sunyani-Kumasi road upon her return from her mother as she was traveling to Accra to prepare for her event trip in Abroad together with her soldier bodyguard, Atsu Vondee and her friend and make-up artist, Franky Kuri.

The sensational dancehall diva was among the highest earning musicians in the industry before meeting her fate.
Ebony Reigns was discovered by her manager Bullet of Ruff N Smooth fame and her song “Poison” and “Kupe” became national hits upon her discovery.
The talented songstress was praised for her unique voice and lyrical contents but also suffered all forms of criticisms from the public mostly for her style of dressing.

Her sudden rise to fame exposed her to many great doors for her in the entertainment industry and she was almost on every bill.

She produced some income from her shows and endorsements, which sailed, with her rise to fame in the industry.
According to the CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah, he was in talks with Ebony to sign her unto the label which would have increased the artistes net worth.
Revenue from the digital space for her songs and other copyright properties was also a source of income for the late songstress.
She was recently unveiled as the brand ambassador for Hi5 Choco Malt, a new non-alcoholic drink by Kasapreko.

Apparently, everybody will be thinking about one major thing, Ebony spent some considerable portion of her income on her wardrobe considering her sense of fashion and taste for stylish dresses.
A series of WhatsApp messages released by her manager after her death disclosed that she also did some humanitarian work for some orphanages.
