Dancehall sensation Ebony Reigns together with her friend and bodyguard died last Thursday night after the Jeep they were travelling with collided with a VIP bus at Nyamebekyere near Mankranso on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway.
Out of the four people in Ebony’s car, only her driver, Chartay Oko, survived giving account of what really happened that took the life of the dancehall queen.

But the story of the driver as to how the gory accident which claimed Ebony and her friend’s life occurred has come under serious scrutiny following the latest eyewitness account of the incident.
“A sprinter bus overtook a car and was coming towards us with headlight very high, so I had to give way for the Sprinter. After giving way to the oncoming Sprinter, I came upon a heap of sand which slid the Jeep into the path of the oncoming VIP bus” Chartay Oko stated.

But according to an eyewitness, Owusu Bernard who was on board the VIP bus which collided with Ebony’s car, the driver of the jeep in which they were travelling with was nowhere to be found when passengers in the VIP bus came around to rescue them.
