Ebony’s father explained that he initially intended for Ebony to be a lawyer, not a musician so he had a tough time accepting her decision to quit school.
Ebony quit school when she was in her second year in Senior High School in 2015 to concentrate fully on music despite being very intelligent academically.
“Ebony told me to give her just two years to go into music but I did not agree because I wanted her to be a lawyer. After some time, I agreed because she assured me she will go back to school so I did not even go for her things in her Senior High School” he stated on KOFI TV.
“I blessed her and declared my unflinching support for her music career when I finally accepted to allow her to do the music for just 2 years,” Ebony’s father said.
Speaking of her upbringing, Nana Opoku Kwarteng stated emphatically that her daughter was well trained and tamed hence the perception people had of her was wrong.
“She got good parental care no wonder she excelled in her career” Nana Opoku Kwarteng added.
