As at now, no one is going through the pain of Ebony’s death than Ebony’s mother. Madam Beatrice Oppong. And as far as the public knows, her mother is the last person who saw her alive. The rest died with her in the car accident.
Ebony had paid a surprise visit to Sunyani to see her mother who had recently returned from the UK. On her way back to Accra, the 4X4 Jeep she was in collided with a VIP Passenger bus that was going the opposite direction.

All the passengers in Ebony’s car died. They were Ebony Reigns, Ebony’s best friend Frank Kuri and a soldier Francis Atsu Vondee. Only the driver survived. The accident occurred around 10: pm Thursday, 8th February 2018 at Nyamebekyere, few kilometers from Bechem in the Brong Ahafo Region.
One Week Memorial service was held for Ebony at the Martins De Porres School at Dansoman in Accra yesterday 18th February 2018. Thousands of Ghanaians were gathered at the venue to show their respect to ERbony and to commiserate with the family of the singer.

Ebony’s mother was convinced by the media personnel present to sing one of the favorite songs of her late daughter and expected, she chose ‘Maame Hwe’.
‘Maame Hwe’ is the most trending song in Ghana and it was sung by the afro diva, Ebony Reigns. It preaches against domestic abuse. It’s been tipped to win big at this year’s Ghana Music Awards
