Voltarian chief rapper, Edem has sent a very strong message to Shatta Wale’s SM Militants, Stonebwoy’s Kelvynbwoy and all upcoming artists.
Born Denning Edem Hotor is undoubtedly one of Ghana’s most successful musicians over the past decade and has the knowledge and the right to caution and advise upcoming artiste.

These aforementioned student artists have been always spotted following their leaders’ footsteps and actions whether in rain or in the sunshine.

The SM Militants follow Shatta Wale everywhere he goes and even wants to sing like him using his kind of style which isn’t even working for them.
Kelbynbwoy, on the other hand, is also trying to brand himself like Stonebwoy and this, in the long run, could affect his entire career.
However, the veteran rapper, Edem yesterday took to his twitter handle to give out a golden advise to all upcoming musicians.
Edem in his message indicates that young talents shouldn’t mimic the style of their mentors and that they should try and develop a unique style for themselves instead of imitating their bosses.

He wrote: “If your mentor or who you look up to doesn’t guide you to find your own voice and be your own king but put u under him…Run for your life..Young Acts #Edemthoughts”

Well, Stonebwoy’s Kelvynbwoy and Shatta Wale’s Militants comprising of Captan, Addi Self, and Joint 77 and all other upcoming artists should better take the advice more seriously.
