Actor and Fashion designer Elikem Kumordzi has said he owes nobody an explanation when it comes to matters of his marriage.
According to him, such matters are not supposed to be shared with friends and he is not obliged to speak about it in the public domain.

His comments come after reports in the local media had earlier suggested that his marriage to Zimbabwean Pokello Nare was on the rocks.
Reports claimed that Elikem and his wife were actually on the verge to go to court in a bid to end their marriage.

However, answers to the rumors, the one-time Big Brother ‘Chase’ representative said he is not perturbed at all by what is being circulated in the media. Despite refusing to either attest or deny the rumors, the fashion designer said such matters are no one’s business.
“Why are people dwelling on what is on social media? I don’t understand why because there hasn’t been a post where people will not want to jump to conclusion to say A, B or C,” he said in an interview with Joy News.

“Again, I am not ready to spit out what’s private at home out on air to say yes I am divorced or no I am not divorced so whether there is a divorce or not, I’m sure it is not anyone’s business so to speak.” He added.
Meanwhile, Elikem and Pokello have been married since 2015, with reports suggesting that the couple have issues in the marriage and could soon file for a divorce.
