Elvis Afriye Ankrah was the sports Minister under the erstwhile President John Dramani Mahama administration. The politician is also the brother of Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah, the General Overseer of the Royalhouse Chapel International.
It appears the renowned politician is now emulating his brother the preacher. The former sports minister who was embroiled in the 2014 World cup “chop chop” scandal it appears is drifting to religious duties now.

A video has surfaced online of Elvis Afriyie Ankrah preaching. It is not clear if he is now an ordained pastor or he was just given the platform to preach in his church. But whatever it is, he appears very good at it.
He won’t be the only politician who has turned a preacher in recent times. It could be recalled that his former deputy minister of sports, My Joseph Yamin declared himself not long ago an Evangelist after he completed a bible school.

Well whatever it is, the Kingdom of God is big enough for all to serve the Lord in his/her capabilities.
