Emelia Brobbey and Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win dance ‘Adowa’ at the late Asantehemaa’s funeral grounds (Video)

There were much excitement and applause at the final funeral rites of Asanteheemaa, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II, after Kwadwo Nkansah and Emelia Brobbey wowed the crowd with their ‘adowa’ dance.

The Kumawood stars were dressed in traditional funeral cloth and exhibited their rich dancing skills.

Their spectacular dance moves attracted a huge crowd amid cheers and applause from mourners at the funeral grounds.-With some chanting Emelia’s name and Kwadwo Nkansah, on the other hand, had to sing along one of his songs whiles the Kete and the traditional drums kept playing.

The 15-day final funeral rites of the late Asantehemaa has attracted dozens of dignitaries both home and abroad to the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi.

The late Asantehemaa was the biological mother of Otumfuo Osei Tutu and died at the age of 111-years. She reigned for 42 years and passed on last year.
