Kumawood actress Emelia Brobbey has disclosed that sleeping in a coffin remains her most difficult acting role ever. According to the mother of two, her acting experience of having to lie in a casket was a strenuous, tedious and was a very frightening moment in her career.
The CEO of Start Ice mineral water revealed that though she has featured in over one hundred (100) movies playing roles which were risky —yet she felt taking a nap in a casket implies the person is dead in reality.
Emelia Brobbey also revealed that on the night of the movie shooting, she had a restless night to the extent that she consulted her Pastor to pray for her.
“I’ve slept in a coffin… It was tedious but I can say I had no choice because we wanted to make it look real and for the viewers to learn something from it,” Emelia Brobbey said in an interview to Abeiku Santana on UTV and as monitored by Ghpage.com
“I had a sleepless night because I know lying in a coffin means the person should die in reality. Some People think acting is all rosy but there are challenges… I need to pray. The script really needed that so I ought to do it.”She added
Emelia Brobbey, a young lady who quit teaching for acting had risen to become one of the most sought-after actresses in Ghana, especially in the’Kumawood’ circles.

She is an entrepreneur and a producer who owns Start Ice mineral water, a new sachet water company and the Endtime production respectively.
