Yesterday the 22nd of August Ghana lost an iconic player, Junior Agogo. The prolific striker suffered a severe stroke in 2015 which led to him being bedridden for several months.
The player battled with stroke for years and was neglected by his teammates, GFA and his club. The continued struggling with the affliction which finally resulted in his death in London yesterday.
Reacting to his death, Togolese footballer, Emmanuel Adebayor took to his Instagram account to express his grief regarding Junior Agogo’s death.
He shared a photo of Junior Agogo nd captioned it;
“SEA, I am saddened by the sudden death of Ghana’s Junior Agogo. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and the Black Star family #GodFirst #RIP #AfricaUnited#AfricaForever #GodIsInControl”

The late Junior Agogo played for teams such as Nottingham Forest, Zamalek Sheffield Wednesday, Queens Park Ranger, Chicago Fire among other clubs before his demise.
The football fraternity would forever remember him for his immense contribution to Ghanaian football. Rest in Peace Junior Agogo.
