Edem born Denning Edem Hotor has in an interview with Accra FM’s Nana Romeo stated that Eno Barony deserves to win 2020 VGMA rapper of the year
Eno Barony arguably has done massively well with rap in the last few years. She has been on the list of the favourite MC’s who got bars and can spit ‘fire’ on the mic.
As the only female rap artist, Eno Barony has stood tall to battle it out with men in the rap game, where she ‘murders’ them with her hot punchlines.
Edem speaking on Accra FM on Wednesday, 26th August 2020 said Eno Barony has his support any day cos she has proven to be a force to be reckoned with.
According to him, she deserves to win the rap category of the 2020 VGMA awards, not because she’s the only female in that group but she is a ‘dope’ rapper with class.
The 2020 VGMA best rapper of the Year category has Strongman, Medikal, Sarkodie, Teephlow, Eno Barony and Kwesi Arthur battling it out for the prize.
He added that giving the award to Eno Barony would encourage other upcoming and top female rappers to work harder to also get noticed and awarded.
This year’s VGMA would be held for a whole weekend from August 28th to 30th 2020.
