Controversial social media preacher, Evangelist Emmanuel Addai, has finally rendered a public apology to Archbishop Adonteng Boateng, six years after launching a series of scathing and defamatory attacks against him.
Evangelist Addai, who rose to prominence around 2018–2019 for his sensational online “exposés,” accused several high-profile personalities in Ghana; Including respected men of God of being fake or spiritually compromised.
In some of his self-recorded videos, Addai often invoked the “gods of the land” to punish pastors he claimed were misleading their followers.
One of his major targets during this period was Archbishop Adonteng Boateng.
Evangelist Addai did not only hurled severe insults at the revered preacher but went as far as branding him a “wizard,”.

After years of silence and distance between the two, Evangelist Addai has now admitted that his conduct was misguided.
In an unexpected but reconciliatory gesture, he visited Archbishop Adonteng Boateng’s church in the US last Sunday to apologize in person.
Worshippers looked on as Addai walked to the front of the church to meet the Archbishop.
In a moment many described as emotional and humbling, Addai bowed his head and apologized for the defamatory statements he made years ago.
In a video that has surfaced online, Archbishop Adonteng Boateng can be seen graciously accepting the apology from Evangelist Addia.
The two men warmly shook hands exchanged pleasantries, and pledged to move forward in peace as mature gentlemen.
