Ewe priests worked shocking magic and turned stones into yam
The Ewe priests, according to reports, performed several magic feats, including turning stones to yam.
The Priests from the Volta Region of Ghana brought Ashanti Region, Kumasi Mahyia palace to be precise to a standstill when they performed several magic tricks at the funeral of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
They also performed shocking magic in which an empty rafia stack appeared to dance all by itself.
To prove that there was no individual in the raffia, the priests lifted it during the display, revealing the presence of a little bird.
The shocking display of magic stunned many spectators at the event as well as many social media users.
It comes as the funeral funeral rite of the Asantehemaa winds down .
Businesses have closed in Kumasi ahead of the burial on Thursday night.
Residents have been asked to stay indoors from 7pm tonight till 4am on Friday, as the body of the late Asantehemaa makes its way to the Bantama Mausoleum (Ban mu) and later to the Breman Mausoleum for burial.
