John Dumelo declared his support for the then ruling NDC leader, John Dramani Mahama in 201h6 and consequently campaign massively to maintain the party but unfortunately, they lost. But the bond that was established between John and John remains strong.

So when news went viral a couple of days ago that John Dumelo has decided to wed his girlfriend, Gifty Mawunya this weekend, social media was rife with reports that the former president will grace the ceremony.
But the former president nearly missed the wedding. He arrived there late and unfortunately did not witness the two lovebirds exchanging vows.

When he arrived, a heavy crowd gathered around him to share a handshake but John Mahama attention was on having a time with his friend John Dumelo at such a special moment.
In the video going viral, John Mahama could be seen whispering something into the ears of John Dumelo and the two burst into a big laugh.
