Bhim Nation President and Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy born Livingstone Etse Satekla has begged organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) to extend his ban.

Speaking at a press conference today at the Golden Tulip hotel in Accra the ‘Bawasaba’ hitmaker disclosed that he will love his ban to be extended for three more years to serve as a deterrent to everyone especially the young artistes.

“The young ones must know that you can’t just misbehave on an awards stage and go free. Such punishments are good to check musicians. The ban has not affected me in any way but it’s all good for the music industry,” he said.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale got banned by Charter House after the two disrupted the awards night for some minutes.

Their act marred the beauty of the awards which was also to celebrate the 20th anniversary since the inception of the awards scheme.

The two were also arrested and put before court on a charge of offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace, with an additional charge of displaying a weapon in a public place without permission for Stonebwoy.
