Yesterday, suspects who are believed to have a hand in the killing of two Mobile Money (MoMo) vendors at different dates and locations in the Ashanti Region were arrested by the police.
They are Charles Kwame Danso, 23, also known as ‘Kwame Charles’ or ‘Miami’, Philip Foujour, 29, and Samuel Addae Mensah, 42.
They were nabbed on March 21, 2025, at Pankrono and Atimatim, respectively, DCOP Emmanuel Teye-Cudjoe, the Ashanti Regional Police Commander, disclosed.

Addressing the media on Tuesday, he said Martin Amoah, also known as ‘Augustine Amoah’ alias ‘Baba Macho’, the fourth suspect, is currently at large, and efforts are being made to nab him.
DCOP Teye-Cudjoe said, “The first incident took place on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Krofrom around noon, where the victim, Patricia Nimako, tragically lost her life, alongside a sum of money.
“The second incident also occurred on the night of Monday, March 10, 2025, when the victim, Gideon Owusu Sarpong, alias ‘Junior’ was robbed and murdered at his residence in Kwadaso.”
