Ace broadcaster journalist Abeiku Santana has disclosed that the decision by organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Charter House to ban two of Ghana’s biggest artiste Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy is unfair.
According to him, the VGMA board could have just banned them for some few years maybe two or three years but for them to come out and say indefinitely is very harsh on the two.
โCharterhouse should have been considerate. Banning Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy indefinitely is too harsh. Though what they did is very wrong and must be condemned, banning them indefinitely is not the option. At least 2 or 3 years ban is okay but indefinitely is too harsh,โ he said.

โBut I also feel that this decision was arrived to protect Charterhouseโs image because their partners, sponsors, and everyone is waiting to see the type of punishment they will give to these two artists so to protect their image they concluded on that decision,โ Santana added.
Going forward, he asked that the two artistes as a matter of urgency apologize to Charter House so the matter can be resolved once and for all.
