The family of the late Ghanaian politician Akua Donkor have denied knowledge of the circulating posters of her funeral on social media.
Speaking with Captain Smart on Onua Maakye, the Abusuapaynin disclosed that they the family decided to organise the funeral and burial from the 27th of March, 2025.
But since their late family member was a politician, they decided to wait for the government to provide them with an appropriate date for the funeral, but that has not been confirmed yet.
He added that they only saw posters flying on social media, and they are in shock as to who was behind the poster and its circulation.
The Abusuapayin said he contacted that real Abusuapayin to find out if he was the one who gave the go ahead for posters to be printed, but he also said he never asked anyone to make posters of the funeral.
A family member who was also on the show mentioned that they haven’t paid anyone to design a funeral poster for them.
