Northern rising star, Fancy Gadam, has stated clearly that no other artist deserves the ‘Artiste of the Year’ title than him.
He made this comment in reaction to criticisms by entertainment pundits that he is not eligible for that prestigious title.
Myjoyonline report has shown that According to those who hold the view that he doesn’t deserve that award, Fancy Gadam is a local champion.

They said though he has not yet made a crossover to other countries with his music, therefore he is eligibility is questionable.
In an interview on Joy FM, Fancy Gadam says his critics are clueless about showbiz.
He, however, said He believes that he deserves that award because he has worked harder in 2017.
“Judging by the effort I’ve put across this year, I strongly believe no artiste in Ghana can match me and so I am confident of winning,” he stated.

“A lot of those saying I don’t deserve the award are not following my work; if they do, they will see that I am the most eligible artiste for the Artiste of the Year,” he added.
In addition, he said; a large number of people who thronged the Bukom Boxing Arena for his ‘Gadam-Nation Concert’ alone is an indication that he is working hard.
