Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng popularly known as Funny Face and also prides himself to be the children president is found wanting, this time not as a “Two munites man” but reportedly defrauding US-based woman.
Mary Ama Boansi the US-based woman who is a friend to Funny Face claims, he owes her an amount of $53,105.53 which converted into Ghana cedis Ghc 297267.02 (rate as from today 24h January 2020 was 5.60)

In accordance with the writ, Funny Face took monies from Boansi while promising he would pay back in due time but he couldn’t fulfill his promise. To top it all both had fallen in love and were about to get married until their relationship hit the rocks. This was before Fanny Face took the loan from her.

The complainant is asking the court to direct Funny Face to pay the amount he owes( $53,105.53 ) or it’s equivalence in Ghana cedis ( Ghc 297267.02 ). Mary Ama Boansi wants the court to charge him for defrauding her with “false pretenses”.
