The 2018 edition of Ghana Meets Naija Concert came off Saturday, June 9 at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.
Among the key talking points of the annual event was the emergence of Dancehall King, Shatta Wale on stage even though he was not part of the originally unveiled artistes for the night.
While his appearance may not have come as a surprise to many fans, what he really came to do on stage surprised many.

Shatta Wale made peace with Wizkid, who he had a much-publicised ‘beef’ with on social media somewhere in September 2017.
In his attacks, Shatta Wale described Wizkid as no superstar but at the 2018 Ghana Meets Naija he called the Nigerian musician who introduced him for his cameo appearance as a superstar.
As if that was not enough for reconciliation, the two were seen partying together after the concert.

In the video which was shared on social media by Shatta Wale, one could see excitement written over his face as he watched Wizkid pop a bottle of champagne.

Since this new twist, some social media users have been reacting to the video which was uploaded by Shatta Wale.
Some thought the reconciliation was a good move for African music and commended the two for burying their differences like:

But many others trolled Shatta Wale for being a hypocrite because according to them, Shatta Wale had claimed he did not see Wizkid as a superstar but was obviously starstruck as he hanged out with him.
