A 64-year-old man has intentionally shot a young man who is reported to have intruded into her daughter’s room at night.
The father identified as Nat after the incident reported himself at Huay Yot, Trang, police station, Thailand, on Sunday, and confessed that he had just killed a man with a shotgun in self-defense.

He had then dropped the gun by the roadside on his way to the station, but the gun was later recovered and examined.

The Police on inspection found 35-year-old Apichai Cheuanut dead in Nat’s house with nine holes on his body from the bullet fire.

The young man who was reported to have climbed into the daughter’s bedroom via the window was lying in a pool of blood by a bed.

Nat narrated to the officers that he was asleep in front of a TV with his wife when he heard his daughter screaming out loud.

Upon hearing the screaming, he picked up the gun lying beside his bed and went to his daughter’s room where he shot the intruder.

However, Mr. Nat has been charged with murder and weapons offenses.
