Nana Opoku-Kwarteng, the father of the late dancehall songstress Ebony Reigns, has shared a heartwarming birthday wishes to his daughter when she turned turn 21, yesterday 16th February 2018.
In an interview with Kasapa News, Nana Kwarteng stated that he wants his daughter to be happy wherever she is, and hopefully enjoy her birthday as much as she can.

“Ebony would have asked me to take her out to a place of her choice as if she was going to pay the bill. She would have been sitting by me in a car as I take her out later in the day. I miss her so much.”He said
“Nana Hemaa (Ebony) wherever you are I know you can hear me and I believe you’re happy by now. The task that was assigned to you, you executed it creditably, there’s no way anyone will take you on for not doing your work. Feel free wherever you are and make merry. Ghanaians have mourned your passing and continue to be sad. Be happy wherever you are, if you know how to drink alcohol, have a good drink, eat your best food,” he added.
Nana Opoku on several occasions stood behind his daughter to fight against the many criticisms against her.He had insisted that Ebony’s choice of fashion and personality is exactly what her career needs and no one had the right to judge her.

Ebony reigns (real name Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng) died in a gory accident on the Kumasi-Sunyani highway on Thursday, February 8, while she was returning from a visit to her mother.
She was traveling with her friend, Franky Kuri and her bodyguard, Lance Corporal Atsu Vondee, and her driver when their Jeep collided head-on with a VIP bus.
The two, Franky Kuri and Astu, together with Ebony lost their lives, while the driver managed to survive.

Franky will be buried on March 3 whiles Ebony’s One-week observation has been slated for tomorrow, Sunday, February 18, at the St. Martin De Porres School in Dansoman.
