The federal Bareau of Investigations (FBI) have released a video footage of what prompted them to start investigation on Dubai-based Nigerian Big boy Raymond Hushpuppi some weeks ago.
According to the video which is fast spreading, the narrator in the video stated a an Instagram post from Hushpuppi triggered them to find out the source of his wealth.
In the said post Hushpuppi shared “Started out my day having sushi down at Nobu in Monte Carlo, Monaco, then decided to book a helicopter to have facials at the Christian Dior spa in Paris, then ended my day having Champagne in Gucci.” and ended with the hashtag #AllMine.
Not only that but he stood by some luxurious cars to take photos which he happily shares on his Instagram page.
It went on to say unfortunatly when they begun investigations the noticed that he had his email attached to his Instagram page which even made it easier for them to track him down to see the shady deals he engages in.
Another post from Hushuppi on Instagram had him flaunting a gigantic birthday cake that had his face hugely carved out on it. According to the FBI, these were the posts that gave them the urge to go after him.
“Investigators were able to verify his date of birth from a previous US visa application.” We had all we needed, so they took action,” the FBI said.

The FBI added that after his arrest, his assets were seized. Almost $41 million in cash was seized from him at the time of his arrest. He was also in possession of luxurious vehicles worth $6.8 million which were all confiscated by the FBI.
