FIFA address the death of Investigative Journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale

The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has denounced the gruesome killing of Investigative Journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

According to a statement released by FIFA, the association is really perturbed and saddened by the death of Tiger Eye PI undercover journalist.

“FIFA has been extremely disturbed and saddened to hear of the news that a local journalist based in Ghana – Mr Ahmed Hussein Suale -was shot dead in Accra yesterday…. FIFA reiterates its support for journalists doing important investigative work, which on many occasions leads to an improvement in governance standards, not only in football but across the board in public life.”

“FIFA also extends its deepest sympathies to the family of Mr Ahmed Hussein-Suale, and very much hopes that the perpetrators of this horrendous crime are caught soon by the relevant authorities,” the statement stated.

It was reported that Ahmed Hussein-Suale was the brain and lead investigator of the Number 12 expose that exposed the corruption in Ghana football.

Ahmed was shot dead on Wednesday night by unknown assailants at Madina and was laid to rest today, Friday, 18th January 2019 at the Madina cemetary.
