Reports received by our outfit indicates that there has been a massive fire outbreak at a warehouse located at Kentinkrono, a suburb in Kumasi- Ashanti Regional Capital.
According to reports from the scene, almost 90% of items in the warehouse have been completely burnt to ashes. The warehouse is stocked with biscuits, toffees and other assorted products.
The fire, according to eyewitnesses reports started in the afternoon of Tuesday, 9th Septemeber, 2020 around 2 pm and as of the time of filling this reports the fire has not been extinguished.

According to information at hand, some concerned neighbours and workers at the warehouse (Quafrico Co. Ltd) called the fire service who delayed for almost 2 hours before appearing at the scene.
Already about 8 Fire Service vehicles have been at the scene of the fire outbreak to extinguish but the fire seems to be giving them a tough time.
As of the time of filing the report, Personnels from the Fire Service are currently at the scene of the fire outbreak to douse the fire and protect the other properties from destroying.
The cause of the fire outbreak has not yet been established, but we shall update readers on the actual cause of the fire as and when we get the final reports from the Fire Service.
