Ghanaian ‘wannabe’ actress and model, Rosemond Alade Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has revealed in an interview that her nine years in the movie industry did not get the attention of Ghanaians but poking her nose in people’s business did.
She stated that Ghanaians did not take her seriously until she began to do things people see as ‘foolish’ and also talking about others especially celebrities.

“After school, I decided to go to Accra and make a living so I ventured into acting movies. I was featured in a lot of movies but I didn’t become popular until I started doing the stupid things that I am doing now. I do a lot of stupid things to make people laugh out their worries”, she stated.
She also revealed that “I started taking half-naked videos, talked about Efia Odo and Fella Makafui issue, Moesha’s case, John Dumelo and other issues pushed me to the limelight. Nowadays, people invite me to a lot of programs. I have won two awards”.
Akuapem Poloo also stated that she makes videos dancing and shaking her butt and also speak on issues which is none of her business, which makes her popular and that’s what matters to her.
She is a half Ghanaian and half Togolese and was born at Suhum. She attended Suhum Roman, Ofori Panyin and Adonten Senior High School.
