Award-winning rapper Sarkodie has sent some words of advice to Ghanaians who have been on the necks of various celebrities to get married to desist from that since it is not the best thing to do.
Recently, there has been a new trend on social media where whenever a celebrity who is yet to settle down, post or try to share his or her thought on some pertinent issue end up being questioned by some social media commentators when they are also tying the knot since their colleagues have already settled down.

According to Sarkodie who married his longtime girlfriend Tracy some months ago, stated that marriage wasn’t meant for everyone and as such those celebrities who are still not married have their reasons for not settling down.
The rapper added that some individuals cannot remain happy after marriage so he believes such people should be allowed to live their single life.
“I don’t think it (marriage) is for everybody. If you can function and you are okay, that is fine. You have to do it based on how you feel. You are not supposed to be pressured because whoever got married so you think you are under pressure to also do same. Some people don’t function well when they are asked to stand at one place. I can function with that act so I did it for me and how I see life and how I want to live. So it (marriage) is not for everybody. So you guys should stop putting pressure on people. Tracy and I have been there for a very long time”. he said in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.

The year 2018 is likely to go down in the history of Ghana as the year that most celebrities tied the knot with their partners.
Aside Sarkodie, the likes of John Dumelo, Becca, Bibi Bright, Stonebwoy have also taken the bold steps of getting married and since the year has not ended we are sure to witness some other weddings from other celebrities.
