Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy disclosed in an interview that his ‘godfather’ Samini deserves the artiste of the decade award at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
According to the ‘Kpoo k3k3’ hitmaker, Samini deserves the award because he has won many awards and achieved a lot in the music industry.
He disclosed that the High-Grade Boss won the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) awards when most of the Ghanaian artists knew nothing about it.
He added that Samini set the pace for most of the Ghanaian artists and is of the view that no one deserves the award than Samini.
“Forget about me and give the award to Samini. He won the MOBO when most of us didn’t know about it, and also he is the first artiste to get a telecommunication ambassadorial deal,” he stated.
