Ghpage.com reported today 18th December that 4 boys have gang-raped a young girl in Ghana, recorded the whole ordeal and leaked it on social media to disgrace the girl.
The location of the rape is still unknown but it has been alleged it occurred in Bantama, a suburb of Kumasi, the regional capital of Ashanti Region.
In the video that has gone viral and has received condemnation from all and sundry, one of the guys believed to be the eldest firmly held the hands of the lady with his back lying on the bed and the lady’s back on top of him. This position allowed others to take turns in a distressing attempt to rape her.

The teens who appear to be enjoying the act was not moved by the plea of the innocent girl who after several fruitless attempts to escape had to be saved by an elderly person(noticed by voice) who barged into the room to sack them out.
Ghana Police Service has gotten hold of the disgusting video and has released a statement to the general public on it.
According to the Police, an investigative team has been constituted at the CID Headquarters to analyze the video, identify the perpetrators and get them arrested to face the law.

The statement further caution media houses and others who have the video to desist from further circulating the video because it’s unlawful.

Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Police PRO, Juliana Obeng has confirmed to Adom FM that 3 of the boys who took part in the gang rape has been arrested. She revealed that two of them are in JHS while one is in SHS.
Mrs. Juliana Obeng further called on the general public to alert the police service when they get hint of those who have taken to their heels
