Francisca Lamini received a monetary award from Citi Fm’s Chief Executive Officer Samuel Attah-Sammens for her success in the recently concluded National Science and Maths Quiz.
Keta Secondary Technical reached their first-ever final thanks to Francisca and her two teammates and also became the first school from the Volta Region to reach such a stage in the history of the quiz.
Despite her school coming third behind Presec and winners Prempeh College in the finals, Francisca Lamini won the hearts of many especially women in the country and outside.
Despite not attending one of Ghana’s best schools, she won the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz as the best female candidate.
She has been praised on both social media and traditional media since the tournament.
Francisca Lamini has been promised GHS5,000 by Mr. Samuel Attah Mensah, also known as Sammens.
