Francisca Lamini will join 2021 NSMQ champions Prempeh College on a sponsored tour to Nairobi and Dubai.
This was announced by organizers of the National Science and maths Quiz, Primetime Media.
Francisca Lamini warmed the hearts of many Ghanaians who watched the academic exercise where her avid for Science and Maths was showcased in her rapt response to questions.
Following that, many believe Francisca Lamini is the shining light amongst contestants who served as trailblazers and motivation to young girls who fear Science and Maths.
Many believe, her love for the subject coupled with the bravery she exuded in providing answers to the questions will surely serve as a point to rediscovery for many young girls out there who for one reason or other fear to venture into Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths fields.
Francisca Lamini has been hailed and appraised for her hard work which she exhibited to help the Keta Senior Technical School get to the finals of the NSMQ for the first time and setting the record as the first-ever school from the Volta Region to chalk that feat.
On the back of that, she is expected to join winners Prempeh College on a sponsored tour to Nairobi and Dubai as the Most Outstanding Female Student of the entire competition.
Victor Carson wrote: I mean I liked her a lot, she was good but this is segregation and favouritism. Such is arranged for the champs, (she came last, hence she should know her place.) If plans can be made for the cos of her gender, it should be plus her team, and outside the champs. Logic matters.
