The initiative of the FullCircleFestival was planted to honor our ancestry by celebrating our heritage and generational legacy.

This was to bring sons of the black soil far and wide to experience their roots and know the stories about what their ancestors went through.

FullCircleFestival: Here's why most of the Hollywood stars are in Ghana

The festival is chaired by The Office of His Excellency President Nana Akufo-Addo and presented by the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Business Development and the Office of Diaspora Affairs.

On October last year, His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo declared 2019 a year of return and called out to the global African family to a birth-right journey home to the country.

Hollywood actor Boris Kodjo who happens to be half Ghanaian and half American and his wife coordinated in making the 400years of slave trade remembrance worth it by bringing a host of Hollywood stars into Ghana.

Stars who are currently in Ghana include Boris Kodjoe, Nicole Ari Parker, Cynthia Bailey, Michael Jai White, Gabourey Sidibe, Naomi Cambel, Idris Elba and a host of others.

This one-week festival involves dinner with the president of the Republic of Ghana and followed by a visit to the Cape coast castle.

This does not end there as the stars will be taken around the length and breadth of the country to experience its citizen’s warmth and tourist sites.
