Vehicles could be seen stuck in the water as they found it difficult to move about.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has debunked such report stating with photos that the newly built Kotota International Airport (KIA) Terminal 3 was not flooded.

“We can confirm that there was NO flooding at KIA, neither was there flooding in terminal 3, as earlier reported.” – GACL shared on Facebook with photos.

The GACL only shared photos of the arrival and departure halls and did not include the KIA Terminal 3 tarmac that was reported flooded by Ace Ankomah.
