Popular Nigerian movie star, Genevieve Nnaji has made history by becoming Nollywood’s first billionaire.
Genevieve Nnaji has reportedly earned $3.8 million (GH¢18,563,000.00 ) after Netflix bought her movie Lion Heart. The movie which is currently being streamed on Netflix has been praised by many.
Lion Heart movie is Genevieve Nnaji’s directorial debut. Stars like Phyno, Nkem Owoh, Peter Okoye(Psquare), Pete Edochie and Onyeka Onwenu featured in the acclaimed movie.

The actress, who was excited by how everyone reviewed and watched her movie, took to social media to thank her fans. She noted that she appreciates everyone for accepting her movie.
According to the talented actress/director, this is the first step to how we change the narrative in Nigeria.
