George Quaye, the head of communication at Charterhouse has wept uncontrollably this morning at the studio of Hitz FM speaking about Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s clash at the VGMA 2019.
According to George, before this incident, the last time he cried was when he was a child but this incident has pained him to the extent that he has been crying since Saturday night when the incident happened till this morning.
George Quaye spoke about the sleepless night, the hustle and pressure they had to go through to pull the event off all with the intention of making it a memorable night considering the fact that it is also the 20 anniversary of Ghana Music Awards.
George Quaye narrated how they had to build a new dome just in 4 days because the AICC was too small to contain the over 4,00 people who had purchased tickets.

All these struggles for Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy to destroy it within an hour. George Quaye revealed the disappointment has not been easy for him and all his team member. George Quaye who was in tears throughout the interview spoke with Andy Dosty on Day Break Hitz.

Charterhouse released a press statement yesterday, 19th May to apologize to all the patrons and Ghanaians in general. They also revealed they have reported the incident to the police.
