GFA charges Elmina Sharks owner Paa Kwesi Nduom over pitch incident and misconduct

Elmina Sharks owner, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, faces serious charges from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after disrupting a Division One League match against Swedru All Blacks.

During the game at Dr. Nduom Sports Complex, he stormed onto the pitch to protest a penalty decision, halting play and drawing criticism from match officials.

The GFA accuses him of inciting players, officials, and supporters against the referees and using social media to escalate tensions.

As a result, he has been charged with violating Division One League Regulations and the GFA Disciplinary Code. Dr. Nduom has until February 19, 2025, to respond.

The football community is closely monitoring the case, as its outcome could impact the league’s integrity.
