Award-winning actress Yvonne Nelson has expressed her interest in joining politics in a few years to come with the aim of becoming the first female president to rule the country.

After her announcement, some social media users took to the comment section to express their thought towards the future aspiration of the mother of one.

According to them, Yvonne Nelson should forget about contesting for a political position because she has criticized politicians in the past.

In a series of comments, Ghanaians oppose the idea that Yvonne Nelson may one day become a president.

Mallam Fuseini: “She said in another station that both npp and ndc are same. So now which party she intend to represent? The double standard, where is it taken us. Celebrity in “(.)

Kabayo Ilii: “Sister Yvonne Nelson what are you talking about, do you the number of females who have masters, PhD and many more in Ghana but cannot compete for presidency? Ask yourself why? But I think you can try your luck who knows”

Dasmani Haruna: “No way….for you to sell your nyas and Ghana to Nyaya in Nigeria? You can sell only your nyas, we won’t let you sell Ghana together with your nyas to Nyaya”

Selorm Peter: “Being famous in the entertainment industry is quite different from being popular in the political field. Get into politics and know your real level…….”

Evans Kwadwo Agyemang: “If they love you on Instagram and Facebook don’t let it get to you too much ok!!”
