Last Saturday, organizers of the Ghana USA peace concert had the shock of their lives after their show record less than 50 people who came to the Aliu Mahama sports stadium in Tamale.

The event which was organized by Marwus Entertainment LLC USA, had some top rated artiste on the bill with the likes of Lynx entertainment Kuami Eugene, and Kidi, Patapaa, Highlife veteran K.K. Fosu, Dadie Opanka, USA based Willy Deep, Tamale’s own Maccasio, and a few others on the bill.

Not even the inclusion of Maccasio who had earlier pulled a crowd of over 20,000 to his concert to the list could attract patrons to come for the much publicized and highly sponsored event.

We are reliably informed that during the build-up to the event, Maccasio warned Swedru based artiste to be mindful of utterances claiming no one can take hold of his territory. Patapaa employed all tactics to hype the event but seems like Ghanaians are already fed up with the musician.

The ticket for the event was sold at GHC20 and GHC30 for regular and VIP respectively which is much less than some event in the capital and was hosted by Mona Gucci and DJ Parar.

According to the Managing Director of Marwus Entertainment LLC USA, Monalisa Semaha, the concert was aimed at solidifying the peace and harmony being experienced by the people of the North.

From what we gathered from our source, the Ghana USA Peace Concert is the highest paying event Ghanaian artistes have enjoyed this year so far. Further checks by our source also revealed that no photos from the event have been shared on social media.
