Popular veteran Ghanaian actor Willaim Addo famous for his Akpatse role has gone blind. William Addo lost his sight after several surgeries performed on his eyes went south. He is appealing for support to help raise money for medication.

Confirming this in an interview Akpatse said;
“Hmm,I have totally gone blind…all the surgeries I underwent years back have been in vain. The deterioration of my eyes started again early last year(2018),” he sadly revealed. He continued,” When it started, I went to a hospital in Sogakope, and I underwent a series of tests, and doctors diagnosed that it is a combination of glaucoma and cataract; and to my utter dismay, doctors told me its incurable …so am now totally blind.”

He nevertheless, acknowledged his previous benefactors i.e Kwame Sefa Kayi, Bola Ray and others for funding his previous surgeries.
Akpatse, which literally means a trickster in the Ga dialect, is appealing again for help to help him regain his eyesight. Akpatse, before becoming one of Ghana’s renowned actors was a stage actor who studied at the School of Performing Arts, University of Ghana.
