Apostle John Prah was the Kumawood pastor back in the day when Kumawood was at its peak. He featured in over 70 movies at Kumawood and was the first point of call whenever a pastoral role needed to be played in a movie.

After about 5 years of absence, Bandam remerged as Shatta Wale and he was ready for action like never before. Born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, Shatta Wale completely pushed Samini over in bloody beef and took over streets as the new Dancehall King.

Shatta Wale has thrilled Ghanaians and keep thrilling Ghanaians with songs such as Taking Over, Ayoo, Bulletproof, Dancehall King, Kakai and other bangers. Currently, he is battling for the spot with Stonebwoy, a prodigy of Samini.

Kyeiwaa – Akyere Bruwaa

Kumawood veteran actress, Rose Mensah popularly known as Kyeiwaa was one of the actresses who was the favorite of every Kumawood movie lover. She mostly played the role of a witch, or an extremely difficult inlaw or similar roles.

At a time, she was one of the highly valued actresses at Kumawood until Akyere Bruwaa rose to prominence. She completely took center stage and all the roles that went to Kyeiwaa were given to her. And she played them perfectly.

Currently, Kyeiwaa has migrated to the USA. But Akyere Bruwaa is still in Ghana and she is still being cast in almost every Kumawood movie.
