Meet the 16-year-old Ghanaian Dancehall musician signed by an international record label

16-year-old Ernestina Afari, a Dancehall artist known by her stage name as Dhat Gyal has been signed by a Norway based Ghanaian Production liable called, 5K Productions and will record her in the next five years.

The signing took place at the National Theatre with a huge number of local and foreign pressmen.

Dhat Gyal, after signing the deal at the National Theatre expressed her happiness haven joined an international record label and ready to deliver.

Augustine Mark, manager for the productions house revealed that their motive is to discover young talents like Dhat Gyal and not only in Ghana, but Africa as a whole.

“Our target is to work with her for 10-years but she has the right to opt out after 5-years if she’s not convinced working with us.” He said.

Dhat Gyal is yet to release an album and hopes to cross the borders of Africa in the next few years with her music.
