As some people travel outside Ghana to struggle and make ends meet for themselves and their families, others tend to engage in some illegal means of survival.
Well, a video has been sighted on social media where a man from Ghana based in the UK has been caught by some shop owners for stealing meat from a shop.
In the video, the thief who claims to have stayed in the Queen’s land for over 20 years made mention that his smoking habit is what leads him to engage in petty stealing as a means of survival since he has no papers to work legally there.

Luckily for him, one of the shop workers who was asked to call the police for him happens to be another Ghanaian who decided not to call the police but rather take his details and ban him from coming to the shop again.

He asked the man to search for a legit way to survive in the UK because he might not be lucky the next time he is caught in a different shop stealing.
The thief thanked him and promised to find a decent job to do when he finally gets his papers.
