Bandana to Shatta Wale

When Dancehall King Shatta Wale entered the Ghana music scene with his “Bandana From Ghana” Hit song. Bandana was his name. Bandana was calm, kind of shy and respectful. But he later got lost in the industry and went underground.

Bandana emerged with the name Shatta Wale and he has been doing wonders. It’s simply amazing. With “Shatta Wale” he changed his demeanor as well. He isn’t the same respectful and calm guy Bandana was. He is no nonsense, abusive, arrogant and a whole lot.

He also changed from Hiplife to Dancehall. Shatta Wale is now the greatest artist in Ghana. The name change has really worked for him.

Christiana Love to Obaapa Christy

Christiana Love the popular Gospel singer has changed her name to Obaapa Christy since her divorce with her husband, Pastor Love. She used the name “Love” because it was her ex-husband’s name. With the divorce, she doesn’t need to continue.

She fell from the music scene after the divorce and name change but within the past year, Obaapa Christy has bounced back and is making hits as she used to.
