Controversial Politician and member of parliament representing Assin Central has made a very shocking statement in an event in Holland. As a guest speaker at the event, he in regards to how Ghanaians can use tourism to make money.
He revealed that most Ghanaian pastors and prominent people visit Amsterdam red light district. The Red Light District is noted for a numerous number of sex shops, prostitutes and nightlife

He revealed that these pastors refer to Amsterdam’s popular tourist centre as Sodom and Gomorrah yet patronize this same place when they go on holidays.
According to the Member of parliament, Ghanaian pastors tag these places as the epitome of evil yet these very places generate so much revenue for the Dutch government people visit it for sightseeing.
It is his opinion that Ghana has few tourist centres as compared to countries like Amsterdam. He said Ghanaian pastors are not in support of Ghana putting up similar infrastructure because of the brothels attached to it yet visit ‘Red Light District’ when they go to Amsterdam.

He described ‘Red Light district’ as a fun place to be recalling that he used to visit there in the past with some of his friends but stopped going there when he became an MP.
