A Ghanaian based in Spain has become that lastest person to get his name in the history books of fraudsters if there is any though after scamming American company Amazon of $370,000 using dirt.

Dirt scam is getting popular with time. What they do is order expensive items from Amazon and when the delivery gets to them, they take out the items and fill the delivery boxes with dirt to the same weight as the original packages.

With Amazon’s policy of refunding money for items when returned, they send the boxes filled with dirt to the company for a refund of their money. In most cases, the company rarely open the package immediately.

He has so far been arraigned before court after his arrest on Sunday but he’s been released on bail set at €3,000.
