The Royal wedding of the Grandson of the Queen of England Prince Harry married Meghan Markel over the weekend in a grand style that saw millions of people watching across the globe.

What made this Royal wedding exceptional is the status of Meghan Markel. Meghan Markel is a Hollywood Black American actress famous for her role in award-winning TV series Suite.

This is the first time a Black person is marrying into the Royal Family and it is a big deal considering the role the Royal Family played in slavery.

All major TV networks were present to cover the Royal Wedding and Multimedia’s Joy News was present. Israel Laryea of Joy News and Joy FM represented the media and Ghanaians are very upset with the decision took by the company to send a representative to England to cover the wedding.

According to the section of Ghanaians who disagree, when something imminent is happening in Ghana right here, these same TV stations and FM stations refuse to go there with the excuse that it is costly or something like that yet they manage to travel to England to cover a wedding which has no economic significance for Ghana.
